i think that everyone should just stop suggesting games for a whiel until all of the games astraware is working on are all done, becuase it kind of seems that all of the team is a little bit under stress, like hameish. this probably means me, moslty, but it seems that they are working on a ton of games (i\'m not sure you want to tell or not, but can i know how many, i am quite interested) and would like more time to work on games.

You would think they would disable this topic if they no longer wanted suggestions.

I mean, if the \"Game Suggestions\" topic is here, then they obviously want ideas.. else they would remove it :)

Yeah, I\'d disable to forum if we really didn\'t want suggestions.

I suppose that, even though I generally have all the projects mapped out for at least 3 months ahead, its a good idea to keep the board open. If I didn\'t, perhaps I\'d get inundated with dozens of emails per day from the usual suspects with game suggestions :)

I think perhaps though I should be a little clearer about what is useful in suggestions though -

In general, suggesting an existing game is a fairly bad idea. Named titles are very hard to get legitimately. (Which is why you see a lot of unlicensed stuff around! We\'re not going down that route though...)

Suggestions in a genre, suggestions for a new game style or title, suggestions for contents, features, clever ideas, these are all good.

Anyone can just pull up www.klov.com and start suggestion random ones from there each day ;) New things - especially ideas which really take advantage of a unique feature to handhelds, now those are the best ones.

BTW, I come up with about 10 new game ideas per week, and discard most of them before even telling the rest of the team, so if you get an idea, mull it over for a couple of days first :)

( I also get most of my best ideas while on the throne...)

Howard.

Now THAT would make an interesting game ;)

so, are you making any games that i have suggested over the last couple days, like an army men type game or a chinese chess?

Right now ? No.
In the next 3 months? No.
Over the next year? Maybe.

seems resonable enough, considering all of the games you are working on now.
