what are your working hours at astraware. because in the uk, isn\'t about 9 hours ahead of us, utah? when ever i am on, it seems like had or haemish are on, and its about 6:30 p.m., or later sometimes, which would mean it is about 4 a.m. or something over there. anyways, thats all i was really wondering, not very important though.

David, Larry, Stov, Ray and Graham generally work 9-6 or thereabouts, during the week, and David tends to be around on Sunday afternoons too.
Haemish tends to be working anytime from about 9am up till the wee-hours, and bits over the weekend.
Iain works about 10am till 7pm most days, plus bits on Sunday.
I tend to work from around midday till about 3-4am (- i.e. covering USA time quite well) pretty much each day.
Sarah works roughly 10-6 and Rosie from around 3 till 9 (plus sunday afternoons).
Jan, Dan, and Tom have only recently started and so their hours haven\'t fallen into a clear routine yet :)

wow, so your sleeping hours are around 5 a.m. to about 11 a.m.? if that\'s true you only get about six hopurs of sleep, your amazing. i usually get about 8 hours, because of homework and stuff. did you get a lot of homework when you were in school, and what degree did you get from college/university? i want to wither go to harvard(boston) or oxford(uk).

That\'s about right. Sometimes I get a bit more sleep, sometimes less.
I used to get loads of homework at school. I didn\'t do any. I used to get loads of homework from university. I didn\'t do any. I passed (just) my degree in Physics from Keele University.
I had to change habits and do a hell of a lot more work when I did my teaching degree, which was typically 80+ hours work per week. That level stayed for my first couple of years teaching Physics, and in addition I started doing Astraware development in my spare time :) When I went full time to Astraware, I kept up the same total hours.
Having a small child doesn\'t help with the total amount of sleep I get either, but that\'s life!
Good luck with your aim to get to Harvard!
If you\'re intending to aim for Oxford, I suggest polishing your written style - they\'re pretty sharp on these things in the best UK Universities :) Everyone tolerates \'loose\' style of writing on the boards (well, mostly), but it doesn\'t matter too much here. I\'ve taught students who have been refused acceptance to Oxford or Cambridge for less. (that\'s students with 4 A\'s at A-level too...)

BTW, I remember that you working weekend, holiday or midnight when you starting astraware.:P (i.e. development of the Zap2k)

We started the company quite some time before I was able to stop teaching and devote full time to programming/business. Probably by about two years.
I don\'t still teach, but it is something I will go back to doing if I make enough money that I don\'t have to worry about supporting my family on a paltry teacher\'s salary.
