Marketplace and Special Items

I have noticed that if you need special cargo and you buy maximum cargo as I normally do you have to sell first. Then you buy the cargo which goes in a special hold. Only problem is that when you go back and buy the maximum quantity it is exactly the same as the 1st attempt. Anyone else noticed?

I've noticed this, too. Just think of it this way: you buy the stuff, which goes into your regular cargo hold, then your crew transfers it to the "special" cargo hold, leaving room to fit more in the regular hold.
