Suggestion

I think the game really needs an option in the "ports" menu to keep track of the tips you receive at the alehouses. Preferably, you should be able to get at tips by month, or by port.

I know I could write the tips down somewhere, the fact that the game is made for a mobile device kind of makes that un-workable. I'd have to take my "cheat sheet" anywhere I took my PDA. Because of this, I rarely even mess with trying to get tips at alehouses and I feel like I'm missing an important part of the game.

It does keep track, by day, in the log book, in the port menu. it also keeps track of what you buy and sell, where and at what price. I must admit I didnt know about this when I first played the game. I also suggest looking at all the other options in the menu aswell.

I know about that, but it's not very convienent. That means if I'm looking for a particular tip, I have to step back through each entry until I find what I'm looking for.

What I'm talking about is a screen where I could tap a given moth and it would show me all fo the high prices, low prices, and contraband issue tips I've recevied for that month as as well as place wehre I could tap a port name and get all the tips relating to that particular port.. Maybe even a place to tap "tobacco" and it would show me all the tips relating to it.

Now that you mention it that would be a really handy feature, though I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement.

maybe an added feature for highRes+ devices? and manual fill in? some cludo games have this feature.
