I was playing a game of Freecell and I tapped something that caused a new game to start. I was not tapping on the top button bar where the new game button is. I was on the tableau.
A friend mentioned that she had this problem. I assumed she was hitting the buttons on the top because I have played much more than she, and had never had the problem.
I can't tell you what I did (nor can she), but I can tell you I did nothing that should have caused that to happen, especially without seeing the warning screen.

you didnt mention which device this happened on, but on the T|X there is a button that allows you to write on any part of the screen, not just the virtual grafiti area(I know its not specific to the T|X as my z22 also has this option, but its turned on in a different way). if you had this on(intentionally or not) you might have accidently inputted a character that started a new game. however, while this might explain the new game, it wouldnt explain the bypass of the confirmation box. maybe it could be something to do with the seed, or one or more of your settings, or both. I think that more details about settings and the seed that you were playing(if you can remember) would help QA and Kat find the problem.
Richard.

It happened on my T/X. My friend has a T3. I know for a fact that the graffiti can only be entered from the graffiti area. I know about that option, but that was a great thought.
One thing I did think of was that my friend only plays Freecell. I usually play a few different games, but I was trying to get to 1000 wins and was only playing Freecell. (Thank goodness for backups.) The problem my have something to do with just staying in one game.

On behalf of the Astraware QA team, I would like to thank you for finding and reporting this issue. We look forward to attempting to reproduce this issue in the office...
(In other words: I have no idea how that could even conceivably happen, but we'll look into it ;) )

One additional thought I've just had about this - Dana, would it be possible for you to list all the applications which both you and your friend have in the main memory of the device, which you *both* have? It's a long shot, but if there's something peculiar on both your devices, then we can look at that list to see if there are any suspects in the third party software range of possibilities.
Thanks!

Kieren,
Do you mean a full list of all the apps on the Palm?

no, I believe he means a full list of all aplications on the internal memory that both of you have, not the ones the only one of you have.
