Last night John (http://www.astraware.com/company/team/index.php?name=john) and I took a trip down to London, along with WikiMonkey. The purpose of our visit was to do an interview with TalkSport Radio's (http://www1.talksport.net/index.asp) Ultimate Late Night Show with Ian Collins (http://www1.talksport.net/presenters/presenter_detail.asp?pres_id=99993). As you'll see from the picture, Ian was pleased to meet WikiMonkey, particularly as he's a big supporter of Wiki's cousins at the Orangutan Foundation. Ian's show has been known to be a little controversial in the past, so we weren't sure what to expect, but gadgets were definitely on the agenda for this one.
Ian's recently got himself a Treo 750 (http://euro.palm.com/uk/en/products/treo750v/) and has been keen to talk about his new gadget on air, so he invited us along to join in the chat. It was a general talk which covered a range of subjects including Windows Mobile (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/default.mspx), smartphone games, Treos, Astraware Sudoku (http://www.astraware.com/all/sudoku), Girl Geeks (http://www.londongirlgeekdinners.co.uk/), John's new HTC Touch (http://www.htctouch.com/), Facebook (http://www.facebook.com), Broken Sword (http://www.astraware.com/all/default/brokensword1), and whether co-host Alan Hyde (http://www.alanhyde.net/) should replace his Sony Ericsson P990 (we said yes)!
As Ian's show goes out nationally across the UK from 1am to 6am, we didn't stay for the whole show, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and have promised to go back in the New Year to talk about some upcoming exciting game releases. If talk radio is your thing, you can also tune into Ian's show via the internet at Talksport.net (http://www1.talksport.net/listen/listentous.asp?a=6&listen_id=99983) - those of you in the U.S. won't even have to stay up all night to do it!
