How do I save my game?

I have a Palm zire72s and purchased tradewinds 2. Love the game but I can't figure out how to save my game. Anyone have any ideas? I am sure it will be simple and I will feel stupid but...

Hehehe.. I don't have a Palm device, but I'm pretty sure you save the same way we do on the PPC version. When you are in a port you should see a 'Menu' button. Tap on that button and one of the items that comes up in the menu is 'Save Game'. Just tap on that and choose a slot to save your game in. If you use the 'Menu' button on the map screen (the one that shows the map) you won't have an option to save the game. You can return to the main menu from here but doing so will not save your game. I hope this makes sense :)

Slightly off-topic (but it was in your post)... Generally speaking, the mob here tend to be a very friendly bunch, and there's nothing wrong in asking questions here :) It's what we're here for, after all - that, and telling dumb jokes, recipes, etc etc etc ;)

OK here is my delima though. When I am in Port I have a "port menu" in it is buildings, items, tasks, cargo, log, ship, and leave. That is the only "Menu" I see. Ok here is the weird thing. The other day my stylus was acting up and wouldn't let me click anywhere so I was being a little childish and just tap tap tapping all over the screen. Oddly enough up pops up the screen with the save in it. The "port menu" is the only menu I have on the port screen. It is located at the bottom of the screen in the center. Oh and when I back out to the sea map There is no menu at all. Any clues?

All you should need to do is press the Application Menu Icon on the Silk screen (bottom left bellow the Home Icon) and the save menu should pop up...No Need to tap anywhere else on the screen. If that doesn't work Try remapping one of your hardware buttons to the Menu Function....

Ahhh... so it is different on a Palm device.

Thanks -- that sorted me out, too. Two things to note, though;

1. The menu can take some time to pop up -- around five seconds my Palm TX.
2. The menu only shows the save option in port, not on the map screen.

My thanks to mBaker5408. I run Trandewinds2 on a Palm Lifedrive and was also perplexed at how to save the game. When I'm in port, and I tap on "PORT MENU," my options listed are: BUILDINGS, ITEMS, TASKS, CARGO, LOG, SHIP, and LEAVE. Going through the application menu works, but it never occured to me to do that until I read these posts.
