Stuck in Syria

I am totally stuck in Syria, talked to everybody but can't make nejo buy the ball, can't find the brush and enter the bathroom. No specific conversation topic is shown for anybody. Please help.

You need to find the brush first....Try using the Search feature on all the hot spots....

Is the "look" function (I'm using the program on a Tungsten E2) the same as the search function? I'm also stuck in Syria, looking for a brush, I guess...

Hmmm yeah the Look button is diffrent then the search in a sence when you hit it Everything thats searchable lights up with a Magnifying glass.....I can hint that the brush is somewhere near some food :D

When this was testing Kieren (I think) suggested that a walkthrough would be helpful for my problems. It was a non PC version but I don't remember which now. I googled" "broken sword" walkthrough" today & found one that says to find the brush near food as Mike said & then you will be able to do something with the ball. So if you give up that's a way to get through that's more specific. Otherwise, I also don't want to spoil the fun by telling exactly what it said :p & it's been a while since I played it.
