I purchased Mahjoong over a year ago and recently purchased a new Palm based PDA. When I hot sync\'d my data to my new palm, the game came over (the free trial version), but I have been unable to obtain my registration code. I lost the registration code and cannot find any correspondence that contains it. I have emailed Astraware twice to get my code, but they do not respond. I enjoy the game very much, but I refuse to purchase it again. I have to wonder if it is a ploy to get you to purchase the game repeatedly (everytime you lose your registration code). Could someone please let me know if they have had the same problem with Astraware? I am not sure if I bought through Handango or Astraware, but I would think that Astraware would respond one way or another.

I\'ve never had a problem at all like that. Astraware\'s always been spot-on for getting me codes. Fortunately, however, I have a folder in Outlook Express called \"PalmOS Related\" and another folder under that called \"Astraware\" -- so I\'ve managed to save most of my codes there quite successfully.

I\'d give them the benefit of the doubt (maybe the proper folks are on holiday). Give \'em another day or so, and if you don\'t hear from them, drop them another line. Have you tried going here: Registration Update Request Form (http://www.astraware.com/support/palm/regupdate.php) ??

Best of luck

Hi! (Good morning!)

Our support gets finished every day, and we do respond to all emails and requests that come in! However... There are times when people can\'t receive our email replies - for instance their server is blocking messages from Astraware for some reason.

There is also a problem for AOL users where their system is not set up to accept email from others - this is described here (http://www.astraware.com/kb/showQuestion.php?id=30&criteria=America+Online). This is worth checking, but might not be the source of the problem.

Sarah will be checking your registration in a little while, and will try to give you a call later if you gave us your telephone number when you ordered. (If not, feel free to email me directly with the info, and I can pass it on).

If you haven\'t heard from any of us in other ways - post a message back here, where at least you know I can receive your messages!

Best Regards,

Howard.

I would like to let everyone know that Astraware replied very promptly to my message posted several days ago, and I am once again enjoying Mahjongg. They were very professional and courteous in every way. It seems that the emails I sent to them did not make it. In my mind and heart I feel Astraware is a very reputable and outstanding company. I look forward to doing business with them again.
