Stuck in Ireland with the goat

Hey all,

I just can't get past the goat. I realise I have to push something in the castle. There are only three things to click on, though (I'm using the icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to show all available clickable things): and whenever I click on the plow, or on the staircase, in both cases the goat bumps me back to the center of the screen, and doesn't get tied up. What am I doing wrong? I'm pretty sure I've talked to everyone, got the gem/towel, tried doing this same thing with both the towel wet and dry, and still nothing.

Any help appreciated! Been stuck on this for two days :)

Ok, I'll post this publically, While your down try the plow.....Should be a good enough clue ;)

Thanks for reply and sorry bothering you again.

I tapped the plow while I was down on the ground just after hit by the goat. Nothing happened. Wasn't this what you meant?
I think I missed something more.

All I got now are the towel and the wire.
I talked to everyone in the pub and the boy on the street. No additional conversation took place.
Switch on the wall is remain stuck. Nothing happened with the trapdoor and the drain.
Electric pump and glass washer in the pup do not anyting for me.
Goat in the castle still bumps me.


Please help me. I'm stuck at this stage for a week.

Are you playing the Palm or the PPC version of the game? The reason I ask is because, even if most of the game is consistent between the two platforms, there are a couple places where game-play is a bit different and passing the goat is one of these places.

There is two places you will get hit by the goat one of them is the key the other is not.

Great job, BTW you still have unfinished work at the Bar....I can tell this just by what you said you still have in your inventory and what you don't have in your inventory :P

I have the wire and the towel, still have work to do back at the bar. However, I can't get pass the friggin goat!

Tried coming at different angles, tried clicking the ladder when I was on the ground....nothing has worked.

when on the ground try the Plow...

I tried to tap the plow (the item on the left of the goat) while I was on the ground, however, he still gets up and walks in the path of the goat?

There are two places the goat will knock you down to. Try it from both....I am assuming your playing with a Pocket PC version as this is one of those spots where Palm and PPC differ.

I am playing with PPC. When I attempt to go towards the ladder the goat knoecks me down. When I go towards the plow the goat knocks me down. I have clicked on the plow after being knocked down and the same thing happens again. I think I am going crazy, please, please help me....aaagh

when you goto the Ladder the goat will knock you down, When your still down quickly click on the Plow and you should be able to trap the goat.

:) a little off topic but You can fix that with something you pick up in the bar....
