Stuck Newbie!

I'm rather new to this type of game and while I'm really enjoying Broken Sword so far, I must be an idiot. I've thoroughly investigated the cafe and alley in the first location and also talked to the workman nearby, and have also been to the police station, but I can't seem to get anywhere else.

Is there something blindingly obvious that I'm missing somehow?

Hi Jen

I would suggest checking out a walkthrough. If you Google for Broken Sword Shadow of the Templars walkthrough for the PC version, it should give you some useful guidance on what you've missed.

It's often useful to talk to people more than once and when people offer you items you may then offer those items to the people you talk to, or question them about the items you have. That way they will often offer different comments or outcomes.

*OK, if you don't already have the newpaper at the front of the bomb site outside, search and get it. bring it to the workman and show it to him. after a while, you convince him to take a break and he reads it then leaves. when he goes, search his work area for a T-shape tool. go back to the alley, use the T-shape tool on the sewer. go down sewer from there
