Firstly -- excellent game!

The pre-1.30 menu system used to show the level (i.e. "Medium", "Fiendish", etc.) of puzzle being worked on in one of the menu screens (perhaps the first screen of the old menu system). Is this feature availabe in the latest version? I've clicked on all the menus and don't find any indication of the puzzle level anywhere?

I typically don't just sit down and solve puzzles in one session. When I return to a puzzle I've already started -- perhaps hours later -- I find myself wanting to know what type of puzzle I'm returning to -- I typically play all the puzzles of the day (Medium-Diabololical) ... and I find it helpful to know what level I'm playing.

Is there any way to see the level of puzzle currently being played in version 1.3 ... or can that feature be added back in a future upgrade?

THANKS

Badlad -I was wondering the same thing. The solving tips function still works. Just tap a dot on the graffiti area of the PDA, and it will tell you what level the puzzle is, the rated difficulty, and techniques needed to solve it:

Solution Rating: Medium
Calculated difficulty : 5650.
Can be solved using : SPT, SCT, CLT

The good thing is that, since it doesn't specifically tell you what to do, this does not count against your final score as a hint.

The only downside to this is that it rates the puzzle as it currently exists. If it was a Diabolical when you started, but you have filled in 89%, it may rate it as a Medium at the time you come back to it.

JStorm -- aaaah, so THAT's how to get that particular 'hint' to activate ... I'd seen it before and didn't know how to activate it and couldn't find any reference in the user's manual.

And you're right -- it's still not **quite** what I'm looking for as you mentioned it rates the current puzzle.

Thanks again -
