Statistics Questions

Hello,
I've been enjoying the trial version of Sudoku, but have a few questions about the statistics before I register ...

1. How do you reset the statistics?
2. How can I see the fastest time for each level in addition to seeing the average time that is displayed and the total number of puzzles completed?

Hi Gary,

Thanks for your interest in Sudoku.

Unfortunately at the moment we don't have a way for you to see the fastest time for a difficulty or to reset the statistics.

We are planning an update to improve the statistics available so I'll make sure these are included in the list of things to consider.

I know that you won't commit to anything regarding future updates or releases. However, can you at least give me a feel for the likelihood that improved statistics (these ideas) will appear in the next release or in a future release?

Hi Gary,

As you say I can't comit to a date for the release including the updates to the statistics but to give you a rough idea I hope it will be sometime in Q2 this year.

There will be more updates before then but we want to focus on some of the more major issues to do with the interface and accessing the stored puzzles before moving on to the statistics.

Thank you for your reply. I look forward to seeing the upcoming releases and certainly do hope that my statistics feature enhancements (reset, fastest time in addition to average time and # solved) will make your cut line!
