TX digitizer problem

Just upgraded from a Zire 71 to a TX, and am finding on Sudoku only that I'm having digitizer problems - in using the pencil marks, it only recognizes them when I tap the upper third of the number, but not in the center of the number. Also when I use the stylus to move from cell to cell, it often lands on a cell adjacent to the one I want. Is anyone else experiencing this on Sudoku? I've tried resetting the digitizer, and it isn't a problem on any other application.

Just something to check - try going into an art/sketchpad application and draw on the screen - you'll see directly where it is trying to register your tap to.

I too have seen a similar issue. I've got a Treo650 with a BoxWave ClearTouch screen protector. When playing Sudoku sometimes when I tap a cell a completely different, not necessarily adjacent, cell is selected. This is not limited to cells either: sometimes taps of numbers in the rightmost column or bottom pencil mark rows select other numbers of grid cells. I've had this same Treo650 since it was available for pre-order in November 2004 and this is the only app that I've seen the issue with.

I tried Howard's suggestion using Diddlebug and didn't see any misplaced taps. The error rate is probably 1 in 200 taps so it would probably be tough to notice in other apps, but I played a ton of Sudoku by another author prior to my copy of Astraware Sudoku and *never* noticed a problem in that.
