I am sure the devs have their hands full but sony clie users who own the NR70\'s are itching for someone to make high rez plus games (320x480). I read the thread on bejeweled on how difficult it is to write games in high rez/redraw speed but the 66mhz chip coupled with mediaQ\'s chipset is quite impressive. A media player called kinoma was just release that plays back full screen 480x320 movies when they are rotated 90 degrees. Members of the cliesource commnunity have been abuzz and sprint to any apps that have been updated or released to support high rez+.

We have several things in development for Hi-Res.
There are several problems with the MediaQ chip that we\'re working round right now, but hope to see some improvements.
Try the new Mahjongg beta to see the hi-res working!

In addition, I\'m looking at supporting the 320x480 resolution for some future apps, but no guarantees... It may just be that we support the 320x320 section of it, and have one version for all the square hi-res machines. Changing the aspect ratio means a massive change for many types of games!

Keep up with the betas here, though, and you should find plenty coming up :)

When do you think the problems with the MediaQ will be solved? When they are... keep us informed! THX and Good Luck! (I think i speak for every1 here!)

what are the high resolution games coming out that you talked about, and what are they. i was also wondering if the new high res. mahjongg is faster than the other, i baught it and like it a lot, but it goes sort of slow.

where do i download the betas for games. i have been a beta tester for about six months and i have not found out where to downlaod the betas yet (although, i have not asked anyone until about now). if you could pelase tell me that would be awsome. thanx had, and every other beta tester for astraware out there.
