Interested to see how to unlock "BeChuzzled" (and/or any other possible modes!).

We (my wife and I) have gotten all 6 of the "charms" in Zen mode, and the 7th appears to simply change the color of the 1st. (My wife was quite disappointed that nothing "spectacular" happened -- she didn't even notice the color change till I pointed it out to her. Then she was REALLY bummed.) ;) :)

Anyway, extra modes would be nice to have unlocked... ;)

Hi there!

Chuzzle is a nice game... I've been playing the PC version. Glad to see the mobile version now.

To get BeChuzzled, first be sure to get the following 5 trophies so that they appear in the trophy room.

Triple Combo
Brainiac
Puzzler
Ten Grand
7 at Once

Then click them following the above sequence, from top to bottom.. You can see a yellow star appears each time you click on a trophy on the upper left corner. So when you get 5 yellow stars.. TADA! BeChuzzled unlocks.

Now its accessible via a small round button on the Astraware logo at the main game screen

Though now I have one more question... How many levels do I have to complete before I get the Puzzler trophy? (That's the only one of the ones you mentioned I don't already have.) Is there something else I have to do? (I've completed 6 of the levels, and am on the 6th. In other words, there's a 6 in the bottom left corner.) :)

Thanks again! :)

to get the puzzler trophy you need to reach the 10th level (there are 20 in mindbender). BTW you only need to solve 3 of the puzzles on any given level to unlock the next level.

FYI - there are 4 trophies associated with the mindbender mode: one when you reach the 10th level, one when you have solved all puzzles through level 10 (although there's a bug right now that gives you the trophy after finishing level 9), one when you reach level 20, and one when you have solved all the mindbender puzzles.

It's the special mode of Chuzzle that you can unlock; I won't give out what it is, other than to say it's different from any other Chuzzle mode (Speed, Zen, etc.). :D

Is there anyway to unlock Bechuzzled without the Mind Bender trophies? I don't like the mind bender kind of puzzles and that is the only thing keeping me from having Bechuzzled. Any help?

Thanks!

Well, just to be clear, you only need ONE Mind Bender trophy: the "Puzzler" one. And as previously mentioned, that's achieved by reaching level 10 in Mind Bender -- and you only need to solve any 3 puzzles on each level to advance to the next one.

I don't like the mind bender kind of puzzles and that is the only thing keeping me from having Bechuzzled. Any help?
Nope, not really... You'll have to "sweat it out" in Mind Bender to get to Level 10... :P ;) It's good exercise for your brain, though! ;) :)

30 puzzles isn't _that_ bad, you know... (And I think you actually get the trophy after completing Level 9, so it's only 27 that you really need... Unless they've "fixed" that, somehow.) ;)

Hang in there. You can do it! :D

I love Chuzzle. I play zen mode because it's easy and there's no pressure to beat the clock. When I get board I just tickle some of them until they bet angry or scream. It's worth a chuckle or two.

I thought I read somewhere that there is a way to make them cry. Does anyone know how to do that?

Best,
Libby :)

How cruel! :o You torture your Chuzzles! Want to make them cry... :P Where's CPS when you need them?! (CPS = Chuzzle Protective Services) ;)

LOL, when I tickle them they behave better and bunch together in larger groups... (smile)

Actually though, there is!
For this, you have to acces your profile data, which is located in Program Files\PopCap Games\Chuzzle Deluxe\Profiles\{Name of your Profile}

There, open the File that says 'INFO'
This file is kinda like a log of your trophies.
For me, it seems to open in an IE window, then when I select 'Screen' then 'Source', you get a nifty little wordpad file.
This is just what you want, 'write down' your trophies!

Just copy the last line of the file, which is something like:
T01=Received August 25th, 2006 at 9:54pm

The first 3 letters is the most important thing to change, the T stands for Trophy, and the number behind it is the number of the trophy.
You can find out which trophy has which number by checking the following folder:
Program Files\PopCap Games\Chuzzle Deluxe\textures\Trophies
Then, as a formalty, I tend to change the time, since you won't be able to aquire 2 trophies at once... I think...

Now save your word pad file (Not 'Save as...' just 'Save') and your all set!
If you start Chuzzle, you will see all your shiny new trophies!

(P.S. The Mind Blender Trophy you need is 'T21')

This will not work on the Astraware (Palm + Pocket PC) versions of the game, I am afraid. Our saved games are stored in a different format.

There is a faster way. In Profiles open comfig.cfg ang add the line "bechuzzed=true".

Well, I'm using the Palm OS version, so if you're using a PocketPC/WinMob device it may be slightly different... But, assuming you're correct (that you've received all of the trophies and have tapped them in the right order -- making sure you see the stars increase with each tapped trophy) then there's nothing that "jumps out" and says BeChuzzled or anything. On the main screen (and ONLY under the same user that you "unlocked" the mode) you should see a swirled circle at the middle of the bottom part of the screen. Specifically, it should be UNDER the name "Astraware" and between "Scores" and "Menu". Tapping that circle gets you into the BeChuzzled game.

If you are certain that all of the above is accurate -- except you're STILL not seeing that swirled circle on the main screen -- then it's time to email support. My guess is you've possibly missed a step above, otherwise your preferences have gotten corrupted somehow. Either way, the above will help you find what you're missing or you'll need to contact support.

The swirled circle isn't labeled, but if you did everything correctly it announces that you've unlocked Bechuzzled just like it announces when you win an award. If you don't get that you've missed something.

I hadn't had this on my Palm anymore because I ran out of room but I got a new memory chip so I've reloaded this. I just unlocked this so I know it worked on the current version. :)

I thought I remembered that, but I unlocked it over a year ago and it's been close to 6 months since I've really sat down and "played" Chuzzle in _any_ mode. (I've since "moved on" to Sudoku and most recently Glyph.) ;) Rather than tell them to expect a notification, I knew the "tell-tale" sign and pointed them to that. (They may be surprised to get notice once they unlocked it, but they could still verify by checking for the swirled circle on the main screen.)

Anyway, thanks for clarifying! :)

it's not a bug that you don't have to do level 10, the trophy is for reaching level 10, not getting past it. getting to it.

Well, I finally tangled my brain through nine levels of Chuzzle puzzles, and since that was the last trophy to get for unlocking Bechuzzled, I now have that extra game mode available :)

I've noticed, though, that there's been only one person in this thread that's come close to what I'm going to say: DON'T BOTHER...

You see, the thing is about Bechuzzled is that it's --

*sound of stampeding buffalo*
aaaaargh...

(Later, in the bathroom)
Maybe a nice soak will help with all that bruising. Don't worry, there's lots of bubbles, so nothing's going to frighten children and small animals :) Anyway, the thing about Bechuzzled --

*window smashes as a plugged-in toaster flies through and lands in the bath*
*SPLASH-BZZZZZZZZZZZT*
AAAAAARGH...

(Later still, in the hospital...)
Wow, I was lucky to come out of that aiive... Anyway, think about the title of the game mode you're trying to reach, and the two possible ways this game could be constructed using the elements that form the title. Then take away the possibility of having actual levels, and you can get an idea of how pointless the game is --

Ah, hello, nurse. Erm, is the fluid in the IV bag supposed to be green and bubbling like that?

Mark -- beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep...

I have Chuzzle from Popcap games. Does that matter? I can't seem to unlock Bechuzzled.
