Hi,

Is there going to be a VGA version of Sudoko? I saw the feature requests thread had this request already, but didn't see a reply as to when it might happen.

I just bought the current version and love it, with one exception... I don't like the pencil marks! I personally dont use them but I am trying to teach my daughter the game and for her I used the auto-pencil marks to make it easier .. problem is we can only see a few of them and then we get a nice little + :-(

I think a VGA version would mean that you can fit all the marks on screen at once (like Resco's version - which I also bought).

Keep up good work!

Paul

Hi!

There is an option to see the pencilmarks either as larger numbers (which can have a maximum of 6 in the grid) or as slightly smaller numbers which can have all 9 in the grid. Sorry the menu is a bit confusing, we're working on that.

I tend to prefer having all 6, because in general I try to make progress with the cells where there are only 1-3 possibilities, but its fine to try either method.

The version we released does have VGA graphics in there... I'm not a Pocket PC expert so I can't help with that bit...

All the best,

Howard.

Hi,

I'm not sure whay you wouldn't be seeing the VGA version of the game, we have tested it on quite a wide range of devices and never seen it use the wrong graphics before.

Could you please let me know what make and model of PPC you are using, then we can look into this in a bit more detail.

Thanks,

Larry

I found the setting for viewing all 9 numbers. It wasn't very clear! It was Number Grid, not Numbers under the display options .. sorry !

On the VGA .. DOH! I tried it on a qvga system and my version is defintely higher resolution. Sorry for the confusion on my part :-( My daughter is finding it very funny that I made this mistake :-(( I did buy the Resco version first and it does look higher resolution that your version .. but this is a bit of a lame excuse really :-)

Thanks

Paul
