Do you have a technique that you use which helps you to solve puzzles? Maybe one which isn't written up on http://www.palmsudoku.com/?
I'll share my favourite tip here - sometimes early on in fiendish (and above) games, I'll try a more difficult technique (Forcing Chains or Nishio, perhaps), instead of trying to search through for all possible easier techniques. It makes it a bit harder, but sometimes allows me to beat my best times because I don't have to do so much searching :)
