Display Problems

I am running Tradewinds on a Sony TH-55. Sometimes the all or part of the screen will go all white. I can get part of the screen back by tapping the screen, but it is very frustrating.

Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do?

Hi SirBlue,

This isn't a known problem, and the first time that I've seen this reported before. At the moment, I don't know what the cause is, but could I please ask for a bit more information on when this problem occurs, and what you had been doing just before it happened?

If you could, could I also possibly ask for a screenshot or picture of what it looks like as well? This may help us gather information on possible causes too. If you could get a picture, can you please mail it to me directly (kieren@astraware.com)

Finally, could I ask if you had installed any updates or other programs at the about the time this problem first appeared?

The problem occurs everytime I run the program. After reading your post, I uninstalled it, downloaded the latest and reinstalled. Problem is still there.

Also, could I possibly also ask about whether you're using a third party launcher (such as Launcher X, Silver Screen, or even the new Windows XP style skin for CLIÉs?)

Do you run the game from Memory Stick, or from main memory? Also, could I be a pain and ask if you could mail me (kieren@astraware.com) a list of the other software you have installed on you TH55, so that I can try to set ours up identically and reproduce it?
