Does anyone know what is going on or whats happening with Zap! 2016? I do apologize if I seem impatient but just wondering about the status of the game. I vaguely remember a pic and/or a video of the game it said it was coming out soon. I dont know if it gave out a certain time and/or date on when it will be released but just curious.

Im sorry I meant Zap Evolution not Zap 2016. Sorry for that.

Zap!Evolution is coming... but I won't give a date. There still many elements to complete on the game before it can enter alpha, then beta, then QA processes.

The timescale we gave - "this summer" - is still what we're intending for, but it was (for so early in the year) a deliberately vague and unspecific range :)

What I *can* guarantee is that it will be well worth waiting for! It isn't just about technology (although there are some superb new features we're using), but about having the best gameplay, the most replayability, and just being simply more fun than any other shoot-em-up out there!

Just thought I'd pop in and add my own little addendum to Howard's post....

Look out for a newsletter soon that will give you some more insights into the game and what to expect, and if you're saying, "How do I get subscribed to a Zap! Ok, awesome, most impressive. Thanks for the assistance. I just thought it was not in the process of development. havent heard of it for a while. Thanks again.

Sad to hear that it's not in testing yet, but glad to hear that it is still in the works and should be released sometime this summer (I'm pushing my anticipation timeframe back from june to late July or August).

We tapwave users are really looking foreward to this game.

I used think zap 2016 should have music, now I just want zap evolution to come out (it will have music, yay).
