Sorry to offend any Palm users (seems to be pretty hottly debated, Palm vs. PPC).

Anywho, I recently switched from Palm to PPC (work forced me to) and I installed Bejeweled on my PPC (version 2.0) I believe.

My wife went nuts (bad). She doesn't like the look and feel as compared to the 1.51 version that was loaded onto our Palm. Is there anyway I can download the 1.51 version for my PPC? Not gonna give you a sob story that my marriage is dependent on it, just where I get to sleep tonight (although the couch is pretty comfortable). ;)

Thanks for any assistance.

There isn't an equivalent version for Pocket PC to V1.51, since at that time the PPC version was still named Diamond Mine. The differences between the games are mostly due to the different platform.

Your wife is probably seeing the main difference between the "new" gem set and the old one. These are the differences between the PC version set and the web version. There is an option to switch between them on Pocket PC, I believe.

Of course, the sensible thing for you to do is to buy your wife a Zire 71 or Tungsten E, either of which is a superb Palm OS based device, reasonably priced, and ideal for the purposes of Bejewelling. ( I bought my wife a Zire 71 last month to give to her on Valentine's day, and she has been very pleased with it now that she can hear the music along with each of the Astraware games. )

Of course, if you'd like me to email your wife and tell her that she isn't worth a couple of hundred dollars to you... You did say that couch was comfortable, right? ;)

All the best,

Howard.

Thanks Howard. With three kids, she's lucky if we could get her the mono Zire 21. Somehow I don't think it would be the same either.

I'll check to see if there is a setting on the PPC (she is currently playing on it).

Thanks for the quick reply.
