Bird\'s with problems...

I just have a question (sorry it has nothing to do with games or Astraware or what ever). I have this bird (a robin I think) that has been crashing into my window (atcually, all of teh windows on the right side of my house). No one in my family knows why it is doing it, but it just is. It is almost like it is trying to get in or something. What ever the case, it is getting real annoying. It does it all day every day (for about the last 3 weeks). So, my question is, does anyone know what is wrong with this bird? Is it crazy or just stupid?

I mean, I have tried to let in in before. I just opened the window and it flew to a tree and sat there and stared at it. I came back after about an hour and it was still there staring at the window... We also have a Senegal parrot (pocket parrot) inside always wistling and talking, maybe that\'s what the bird is trying to get to?

So, does anyone know what is wrong with this bird?

Hmmm, maybe it takes after you DBZ-;)

Maybe Gatewood can come up behind it (invisible of course) and scare the Hell out of it.

I just read in the letters page of the Fortean Times that hanging brightly coloured objects in front of the window helps birds see the window to avoid it.

We\'ve had this problem with mockingbirds and robins, both. They are seeing their reflections in your window, and are trying to mate with them, or fight with them, in the case of mockingbirds. We had to hang an opaque piece of plastic on the window in my mother\'s bedroom so that the constant bumping of the mockingbird wouldn\'t keep her from resting in the afternoon. (She\'s almost 94, needs her rest!) That\'s why when you open the window, the bird doesn\'t try to get in. He can no longer see his reflection.
