I think I brought this up or mentioned it before, but is there a way that we could be notified of new Games that have been released into Beta. Not trying to sound lazy, but with the merge of the multi-platform thread, I have ended up coming in on the tail end of some Beta\'s. I have gone into them in the past week and noticed it was all Palm, but now I go back and there is PPC ready for testing. I think this would be more helpful for Beta Testers that only test on one platform. Just wanted to get my thoughts out there. Gotta run, I have some catch-up Testing to do...

There\'s no automatic way to do this, but its my intention for larger tests to at least send out an email to everyone who has an interest in that device type.

Howard.

Tantousha and Smokerfield, please email kieren@astraware.com and he will sort out your beta registration. You have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Please tell him whether you are under 18 years old or not.
See you there!

Hi Tantousha, Smokerfield!

Always nice to hear from people interested in becoming testers :>

I take it you have both had a look at our beta tester information (http://www.astraware.com/about/beta/)? If not, then this is the best place to find out the basic information, and it explains our non-disclosure policy.

To get the NDA document itself, email me (mailto:kieren@astraware.com) and let me know if you are over or under 18 years old and we can sort it out from there!

Kieren

Oriel29, we lost quite a lot of email due to a server problem. Email Kieren again, the problem is fixed now!

Once AW has your NDA, you will have access to the available betas.

Actually, in this case Jobm had sent his reply back with the return ID, but because he sent it late on Friday, and I only just saw it on Monday, there was a delay before I got to upgrading his access!

Sorry Jobm!

its like a game boy no?
not a palm pilot?

It's more like a Game Boy than a Palm yes, but it's not remarkably close to a Game Boy either :) The operating system the N-Gage uses is Symbian series 60, rather than Palm OS or one of the variants of the Pocket PC OS.

Perhaps the closest comparison should in fact be the Tapwave Zodiac, because the Zodiac is a Palm designed for gaming, and the N-Gage is a phone designed for gaming...the Game Boy is a proprietary machine designed purely for gaming and nothing else, hence it not being a great comparison :)
