Hey Kieren, I just looked up Home World 2 and it looks pretty cool. When I saw, I actually remembered seeing it a while ago, just from visiting Sierra\'s website. That will be a pretty cool game when it comes out. :)

HW 2 isn\'t all that great. Homeworld was actually pretty boring. Don\'t waste your cash.

Heh - if you reckon HW1 was pretty boring, by your evaluation of HW2, you\'ve just sold it to me :)
HW1 may have been \"boring\" - but one of the best games I\'ve every played. Superb (and innovative!) game design, along with an excellent level of writing and graphics, and perhaps the best music I\'ve ever experienced in a game.
I maybe spent 150 hours on HW1 - quite good value for money for me! Completed it all the way through a couple of times.
It *wasn\'t* a \"twitch\" game though - so it wouldn\'t appeal to your average TV generation viewer :)
Howard.

Had,
I guess I have to say the HW1 was pretty entertaining, being that I played it for like 3 weeks straight. However, I wished that it was just a little faster. At times it just dragged on a little.
Now a game that seemed to piggyback on HW is Star Trek Armada and Armada II. I like the speed of the Armada series much better than HW. Armada II is WELL worth the money, if you can still find it.
