Halo

Some people may already know this, but I jsut want to announce it anyways (even though it has been around for a while). Halo is coming to the PC this summer! Yeah, I love that game (and C&C Generals, which I have played, but do not own...yet, :)). I can\'t wait, the internet paly will be the best part about it too. :)

Halo for PC comes out at the end of this summer! It will be so fun! There are going to be 5 new multiplayer maps that are not on teh Xbox verison, two new weapons for mulitplayer (some alien lobbing grenade type launcher gun and a flamethrower). There is also the new Wort hog jeep with the auto missle launcher that will be in Halo 2 for Xbox (and only in multiplayer in Halo for PC).

You will also be able to fly the Alien Banshee in multiplayer mode and the alien tank called the Shade.

Mmm...Halo, but with controls you can use...

On the other hand, on the PC, Halo's main grace is the AI...graphically it's been done before, and vehicles in games have been better implemented in games like Tribes, PlanetSide and BF1942. Sure the warthog is fun, but have you ever tried the Tribes 2 Gravbike? Down mountains and canyons faster than anything else in the game, powersliding round tight corners with a flag so hard that you are flying backwards half the time?

Or even the lowly Jeep in BF1942 - fast and maneuverable, dodging enemy tanks as you try to slip past to their airfield to steal a B-17 bomber?

I may get it, but I'm looking at Breed as well. Halo was a great game. when it was released on the Xbox. On the Xbox, it's still a great game (for the Xbox). But for the PC? Maybe I'm just jaded, but they lost a lot by making us wait this long.

Halo 2 is coming out soon, and now they are coming with Halo for the PC.

And I think you will never get the great gameplay converted to the pc, because of the X-Box's controllers.

I waiting for Halo 2 now for the X-Box because 1 was just great...

I think you can always get the great gameplay, even without the controllers. Also, Halo 2 will be awesome. Way better graphics, way better effects, you can be aliens in multiplayer, etc. (tons of new things). But, they have also added lots of things to the PC version, such as being able to fly Banshees and drive the Shade in multiplayer. You can also get a flamethrower, the gun the hunters use, and the Warthog with the missle launcher that is in Halo 2 (all only in multipalyer). The main purpose of this version of Halo is for the World Wide multiplayer that will be run over the internet, because most people will have played Halo either at a friends or at their house, and have beaten the game, so the aim is not really single player.
