Hi everyone, I am new here and I just wanted a question answered please! When it comes to gift certificates, are there any games that do not qualify for the gift certificate redemption? Any response will be appreciated.

Hiya!

The full list that are *currently* supported is on the gift certificate page.

It is the intention that all of the $14.95 games will eventually be added to the gift certificate system. That means it won\'t include the ChromaGames pack or GTS Racing Challenge.

(This is because the gift certificate assumes the price. We could go to a system that is an actual dollar value certificate instead, but then there wouldn\'t be any bonus to buying and giving a certificate.)

Hope this explains, but feel free to ask anything!

Howard.

I have a question and a suggestion. The question is can you use the gift certificate for a higher priced game (more than the certificate is worth) and pay the other amount with a credit card?

If you cannot, I suggest that you make it that way. Say the gift certificate is for 14.95, and the person wanted Bejewled. But, then the person saw the popcap games pack and saw otehr cool games that they wanted (but only had the certificate for 14.95). You should make it so you put in the number on the certificate, then have another thing where you could add a credit card number (This would pop up after you selected the game you wanted that was more than the certificate).

With this, people are not limited to only certain games. This way people could also like to return and purcahse more games if they please. Part of the credit card/gift certificate process, you could tell them about it when they recieve the gift certificate (like as part of what you can buy, or have it in the gift certificate page).

Anyways, just a suggestion that I thought could help improve you gift certificate purchasing system. :)
