PPC Forum is missing

Not sure if anyone realizes that the PPC Forum is missing....

I noticed, I also noticed that the Palm one is gone too. But I think that is becuase all of the new betas and \"updated\" games will be going in to the multi-platform beta area, that is most likly why they are gone, and most likly why Had added the multi-platform beta area.

If you noticed, the GTS racing is only a Palm beta right now, which should have gone in the Palm beta testing area. But since none of those exist anymore, I am guessing that all of the betas will be posted in the multi-platform area (which I actually like more). ;)

It appears that the games that are now released have been cleaned off. If as a results there aren\'t any Palm or PPC games left in the beta phase, it makes sense that you can\'t see a forum section for that?

As Howard said, assuming that you have sent in the NDA, you will the see games to test as and when they become available :)

:)I guess it depends on your mode of transport - Concorde takes only a couple of hours (apparently) :P
Paddle boat takes a bit longer; and if you set off in the wrong direction - like my luggage has done before...

However concerning an NDA, it also depends on whether or not you put a stamp on the letter ;)

This is what Howard posted in the Chatroom earlier (always a good source of information):

I went through today and closed off all of the forums where there was no longer something in beta. That got rid of almost all of them!

The next step was to make the forums the right access levels.

Both Palm and Pocket PC forums were (at that moment) empty, so I raised them to the \"NDA Required\" level.

Ray mentioned to keep the Link Letters forum alive for a while until the final test, so I\'ve just put the PPC category down to the \"Beta Tester\" access level.

Link Letters for PPC will be released next week, so at that time I\'ll put the category back up.

We\'ll be moving the \'multi platform\' category up to the NDA level at the end of next week.

It will be a few weeks until we have any new games coming into beta, so there shouldn\'t be any problems.

I\'ve had about 16 NDAs through so far, and those have all been posted back. (Don\'t ask me if yours is through yet...). ( One today has been received back, so they should start arriving back with you all over the next week or so.)

Sorry for those of you in the US - your postal system is pretty crappy, and yours tend to take longer. Perhaps its because the US system doesn\'t get the concept of \"Outside US\".... ;) (Or maybe the postal workers are going postal again...)
I\'ve had plenty through from EU, Asia, and even Australia so far.

So, when you recieve the NDA\'s, do you upgrade that beta tester right when you get it, or whwn the beta tester gets it back?

Oh, one more thing. What types levels of *security* are there? Are there just the normal, beta tester, and administrative, or are there more?

When you get it back, there\'s a code to email me (or Kieren) with to confirm you\'ve received it. Once either of us gets your email, we log in, perform the sacred SQL rituals, and upgrade your beta tester status.

There are thousands of beta tester levels, but I can\'t tell you what they are without having to kill you. Sorry.

In fact, even telling you that there are thousands is something I\'ll have to set Gatewood on you for. Good job we don\'t know where you live. Oh, hang on.... there\'s the postman..... Ah! Some NDAs... Oh.... How convenient.... Mwuahahaha... ;)

Since Astraware is in the UK they have mail pick-up on the 17th (Presidents day) So, If you sent your NDA in the week before there is a chance it will get back sooner than if you sent it this week. Wait, that doesn\'t even make sense to me. It did before I started typing...wait....I...can\'t....stop....typing.....

Anyway, My NDA should be back real soon so I can get back to testing.
