I have v1.02 which is the latest version on the website. How do you export high scores? Am I just being blind?

Hi Cheryl, You aren\'t being blind - we don\'t currently include the option to export high scores from the Pocket PC versions!

It\'s one feature we may well include in the future, but I\'m afraid it\'s not here yet :<

Not to cause trouble or anything, but why is that? How can I compete against other players if I can\'t get a code for the high score board? :D (I like competition).... ;)

Cheryl,

I started a thread on this idea earlier today.

Troublemakers the pair of you!

We simply haven\'t implemented the high score export system for our Pocket PC core library yet. As soon as we do, then updates to each game can be made adding legitimate high score export capability.

Maybe in the next couple of months.

Howard.

Me? A troublemaker? muhhahahhahaaaa! You caught me! :D
Seriously though, hortonk and I cannot be the only ones who have questioned this......can we?

While we are on the subject of exporting high scores....How difficult would it be to show the high score for each mode of a game? For example, in Insaniquarium, there are 4 different modes to get high scores for. When you go to export the scores you never know which mode it is for. Does that make sense?

Export high scores, and viewing high score tables both work on the basis of the table for the last game you played (assuming it had a high score table).

It probably wouldn\'t be hard to show all high score tables (I may yet be corrected on this however), but it would consume memory. Finally, it might make it hard to know which table you were exporting from :)

How much memory are we talking? I wouldn\'t mind sacrificing some for the convenience of being able to choose which mode/difficulty level I am exporting scores. Is it do-able?

I think we are now looking at incorporating some kind of system that will ask which high score table you wish to export from before giving you the export code, to try and clear up just the confusion that occurs with games like Insaniquarium.

We probably don\'t need to load all the high score tables, and this was what was worrying me about memory - some Palms are very tight on heap memory (the Pocket PCs should be fine)

That sounds wonderful! :D
