I just made a post in another area of the boards and I noticed that the thread\'s title was corrupted after I edited that root post. I am making two threads about this to test the differences.

This is the edited post. The title should appear on the index page as:

Capitalization and Abbreviation Issues When Editing Root Posts of Threads.

It appears this way on the index page however:

capitalization abbreviation issues when editing root posts of threads.

When I edited this post, the title was filled in correctly in the \"subject post\" box on the edit post page.

I have also noticed, actually, quite a while ago but I didn\'t think it was that big of a thing.

This has already happened to me in my thread \"The Wayback Machine: an \'E-Time Machine\'\", and I complained to Howard about it, asking him to change the title. He said changing the title would be risky... but come to think of it, maybe he can fix the bug? Howard? Your input to this discussion would be appreciated... ;)

I\'m sure its fixable. Does it *really* matter to you ?
I have lots of very big fish to fry - so I\'m trying to prioritise...

It\'s not more important to me than a new game would be, but it\'s definitely more important to me than some of the other proposed board fixes/improvements... ;)
