Sorry,
Need to get it out of my system....
When a new Thread (http://board.astraware.com/viewthread.php3?FID=59&TID=1197) is opened on a topic that already has a Thread (http://board.astraware.com/viewthread.php3?FID=59&TID=919&pagenumber=1) that has been open, and active, for almost 3 months.
Just what we need, ANOTHER POST, on the same topic. All it would have taken is time to look.
I\'ve said my piece and I feel beter, thank you.

:( to you. JK! :) Sorry about that. I wasn\'t really planning on starting some big thing.

But, but....
That would require patience and time and (God forbid!) effort!
Surely you can\'t expect that of everybody, all of the time ?
*sigh*... I know what you mean - its kinda of annyoying the people post without searching the archives and checking the FAQ first. Its the same here as with any other part of the internet!
For those who are new to the internet (i.e. been using it solidly for less than 10 years),
(*) Read other people\'s posts through properly.
(*) Search the archives before asking a question or posting *another* topic.
(*) Check to see if a discussion already exists for the purpose
(*) Read it through to see if your question has already been answered.
\"But,\" I hear you cry, \"these things take *too long* waaaaaah.....\"
\"Ah!\" I reply! \"Tough. Prepare for a toasting.\"
( I totally and wholeheartedly agree with Choiberg! )

Well...
You are right, it does take time. I mean, have you seen how long that posts is, like 12 pages or something. I just barley became interested in PPC\'s, and I did not really feel like reading 12 pages of forum. Anyways, I am NOT new to the internet, but, agian, I am sorry!
Oh, Had, if you get a small, FAT envelope in the mail within the next wekk, it is from me. I did not ahve any big ones to put in the form, and I could not fax it to you, it always said you were unavailable.

The fax machine is dodgy. That\'s why the instructions (and my email) said to post it :)

Does this mean we need to start a new Office Cam Thread??? (Sarcasm)
That is part of posting, not to take the easy way out and disregard what has been said. You may end up finding an answer to your own question without having to post.... for once.
(*) Laziness is not an excuse
(*) You\'ll know the feeling when you start a thread that becomes so populated with posts....

Its not really populated. Yes, it has happened to me before, in fact, recently in the \"game suggestions\" forum. But I was not pissed off like you (;) :)), I just pointed it out. Anyways, I think you have made your point! ;)

Oh, one more thing. I went through every post in your new thread to make you happy. I read every post in every page. Infact, I am asking Had right now, how do you close threads, can us as beta testers close our own, just like we can only edit our own? If not, I think it should be an added feature incase someone *accidentally* makes someone else mad (:().
I would like to close this one and the other one in the beta banter area to further discusion.

Only admins can close threads, or delete them.

This is most likely something you should post in the bejeweled area. I am not sure if the old posts are still there, but there were a lot of suggestions and things for getting hi-scores on Bejeweled.
Nothing is up my.... whatever you want to call it.
It just seems like a constant thing that you don\'t pay attention to what\'s going on before making a post.
I really don\'t want to go into it with you, I just know I am not the only one that has asked for threads to stay on topic, and yes, maybe I do take it a little personally when you go way off topic in a thread I started to focus on something I wanted to get people\'s opinion on something. What\'s the point of having a topic of discussion if the topic doesn\'t get discussed. Little innuendos here and there are fun, but asking 2 deliberate off topic discussions.... you figure it out....
Maturity is easily perceived....

What does that post about Bejewled have to do with anything? He asked for a way to get a *good* hi-score and I told him where to look for it, in the Bejewled area! That is wehre there have been many opinions in the past on good ways to get real high scores. Yes, I have looked just barley, there are no topics on it. But, if you ahve anything about Bejewled, that is where it should have gone.
...I am just not going to talk to you anymore. We ahve had some big sidpute like this in the past here, which Had didn\'t really like. So, do you know what, I am just going to end what you started (so many negetive posts...).

To answer your question:
You made that off topic remark in Bejeweled High Scores Thread (http://board.astraware.com/viewthread.php3?FID=92&TID=1216) and then 2 hours later made those two off topic posts in the Memory Cards - PPC/Palm Thread (http://board.astraware.com/viewthread.php3?FID=59&TID=1125&pagenumber=2)

Calm down children, or Howard will bang your heads together ;)
An occasional wandering off toptic can be ok - I am sure most of us are guilty. However, some people seem to wander further than others and more often - just like sleep-walking.
There was a Bejewelled strategy thread some months ago, but that doesn\'t seem to be there now, maybe since the forum changes. The \'longer-term\' history is no longer an option.
And if anyone dares to wander off-topic in one of my threads, I shall not be so calm (The Lego games suggestion springs to mind :P )

Point well taken.

I might have gone a bit overboard in a fit of rage :), but I\'m glad someone else feels this way, maybe not as passionate as me. ;)
DBZ-,
I\'m willing to hash it here and put an end to the argueing...

Whatever happened to Maria, anyway ;) I know I learned my lesson with the legos :)

Hey, I did not really go off topic there. Well, in a way I did, but I was just helping someone else who asked a question... Besides, that was part of the topic...Just like how Hiroshi mentioned OS 5.2 in your thread about Card Formatting. The OS 5.2 has nothing to do with cards, then he mnetione dthe fix they are making.
Anyways, lets just stop, this will never end. :)
Oh, you also kind of went off topic in this thread. This thread is about duplicate threads, not going off topic... :)
