What happened to the links at the top of the page (post reply, new topic, etc)? I am also missing have the path show up in the upper left hand corner over the messages. I don\'t know what the \"correct\" name is. Ugh! It was nice to be able to go back to beta banter to find another topic without having to go all the way to the main bulletin board page. Does this make sense? I did notice you can choose a specific area at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. I like the old way better :)

I agree with Cheryl--what\'s she\'s refering to is the link chain that let you navigate the message board tree eg \"index > About the Communities board > where links?\". That was extremely useful, please reinstate it.

I have also found that on the post composition page, the message at the bottom \"Click here to review this thread\" needs a new font color. Currently it\'s mostly black, which disappears into the page background.

One more issue: www.astraware.com/board is a dead link now.

Who\'s online is mia, too. I didn\'t use the IM very much, but it was nice to be able to see who is online without going all the way out to the main bb page.

The Boards look really different, did you all (AW) make a big change to the site and how the boards looks in the site?????

We\'ve recently made changes so that the board uses the same left menu and top header as the rest of the site (so it remains more up-to-date).

Looks like we list the quick-link bar. I\'ll let Ray know :)

One more issue: www.astraware.com/board is a dead link now.
Yeah, I noticed that too. I thought the board was down again ;)What are you doing typing www.astraware.com/board if it is easier to type board.astraware.com?

What are you doing typing www.astraware.com/board if it is easier to type board.astraware.com?I don\'t type the address to this site; I click a shortcut on my links bar in IE. www.astraware.com/board is a holdover from whenever I put that link in, about a year and a half ago I suppose. It might be useful to keep it alive (and point to board.astraware.com).

Howard, since you\'re going to put that link header back in, I\'ll mention one small problem with it that I\'ve noticed...

Thread names with quotation marks (\") in them show at the top of the page like so (when browsing the actual thread):

Thread: arggh! \\\"show signature\\\" checkbox problems

OK....

It looks like Ray broke a few things today when he uploaded the new system :)

We\'ll try and have a fix in place for the IM system.
We\'ll get the index links bar back in place
We\'ll fix the thread title display

I\'m working on the chat system now, and that will probably supercede the IM system one day... Its currently urrrgly but I\'ll be posting later asking for people to have a go.

The links on the bottom don\'t work either... aagghhhh :o

On a side note: Help I\'m stuck in this thread....

None of the links on the left work, only \"Products\" and that takes me here (http://board.astraware.com/index.php).I relized the problem. All the links start with http://board.astraware.com insted of http://www.astraware.com.

I\'ve noticed that, too - if you send someone an email message via the board (by clicking the icon under one of their posts), things like quotation marks and apostrophies end up with a backslash in front of them.

I knew it all went too smoothly.

Ive added the IM stuff
Ive fixed all(hopefully) the links
and Ive added the quicklink bar again

Oh and i think ive fixed the \\\"quotes\\\" thingy

It looks as if the links on the left side of the screen are still busticated. I clicked on products and it brought me right back to the board. The other links don\'t work at all.

Not sure if it is just me, but the links on the left, underneath \"Contact Us\" is \"Community\", it is in black writing, where as all the others are in the white-ish/purple color (just above the \"User Groups\" link).

Think you all have some bigger problems...

All the words in all the links under \"tools\" are the same color as the background. You can\'t see them. If you highlight the entire site in those pages, you can see the words with the reverse color of highlighting them.

This is the only area I have found like this. It is on all the screens in \"Tools\":
>\"Help\"
>\"View Images\"
>\"Upload Image\"
>\"Change Your Avatar\"
>\"Create Beta Reg Code\"

The same thing applies to the \"Click here to review this thread.\" when you post. Which is right above the \"Submit Reply\" and \"Clear Fields\" Buttons. All I see is the \"here\" link.

Thanks for spotting that on the tools section :)

Its because we\'ve moved to a new system that uses a css for various bits rather than hardcoded html everywhere. Unfortunately, some bits haven\'t been fully updated yet, and still have hardcoded black against the new css style black background. Not so helpful, but it won\'t take long to find and fix :)

Regarding my previous post, if I be so arrogant as to quote myself ;), the \"Community\" has now gone from Black to purple and is still not the same color as the other categories & links that are that light purple.
