C&C Generals! :) I can\'t wait for that to come out, it looks so cool! But, my computer can\'t handle it. You need a Geforce 4 graphics card (minimum), 2.0 Ghz processor (minimum). I have a Pentium Celeron (466mhz) and a Geforece 2 MX graphics card, which sucks, becuase I really want that game.

Hey, do any of you have a payed registration with File Planet? If you do, you could downlaod the multiplayer version of this game for free. If you do not have a Geforce 4 graphics card aor a Pentium 4, you could still probably run the game fine. The only problem would be it would go slow, and it might bring up a sign saying \"your graphics card is not supported\" or something like that. But it is always worth a try, I really suggest everyone try this game if they can.

Anyways, what does everyone else think of this game? Have you seen movies/screenshots of it yet, have you read anything about it or what. Please tell me! :)

You have it! Do you have the latest beta of the MP test?

I want Deus Ex 2. I\'m assuming it\'s coming out before Doom III, so when DX2 comes out, I\'m going to upgrade my P3-800 clunker to something more formidable.

It\'s out! It\'s out! Yeah, C&C Generals came out yesterday! I can\'t wait to get it (I need 30 more dollars)! I also found out that you don\'t need a Geforce 4 graphics card (unless you want maximum maxium performance).

You need any Geforce 2 graphics card (or later that works with Direct X 8.1), 128mb of RAM, Intel Pentium 3 (or any 800mb processor), and 1.8 GB of memory. I have all of those except the pentium 3, which is why it will work, but just slow (I don\'t care, I play lots of slow games, ;(, but I still think they are fun, :))

YEAH!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I can\'t wait until Master of Orion 3, but I\'m afraid it will be a let-down after the brilliance of MOO2. It should be out soon - hopefully they won\'t do the annoying Freedom Force thing of releasing the game 6 months later in Europe.

Homeworld 2.

Oh yes. THAT\'S the game I can\'t wait for...I found some more screenshots and a review the other day.

Must have...

You like the look of Homeworld 2 as well then? It\'s going to look amazing...of course the final bite of the pie must wait until they actually bother to release it (it\'s only around a year overdue now...and they only took down the old Homeworld 2 - 2002 frontpage around 1 month ago).

I recommend you get your mitts on Homeworld and Homeworld Cataclysm for a taster of the good things to come!

Homeword: Cataclysm was just excellent - except for the last level - and the original Homeworld is sitting on my to-be-played pile - y\'know, once GTA3 is completed and all that. MOO3 may well shunt it aside, mind - I reserve that right ;)

Going by the reviews for MOO3, though, I may have to lower my expectations - just like I\'ll have to do with Freelancer :(

No, I was talking about C&C Generals. I just got it, it is soooooo cool. I have to have teh graphics on teh lowest (and to get \"ok\" performance), but it has cool moives and gameplay and everything. But, I would still like to know more about Homeworld 2, I will do a search on google and go take a look at it. :)

After having Jan tell me how poor the reviews were for Moo3 (which comes out today apparently) we\'ll probably end up waiting to see if the demo is any good first.

Freelancer promised much but turned out to be a pretty version of Tachyon. Oh well, it won\'t be the game to get my Elite money. Why does this always happen? Terminus promised as much and just never appeared.

DBZ - I was never a huge fan of the C&C series, and C&C Generals didn\'t appear to add anything to the experience, hence my lack of enthusiasm :>

The graphics of Red Alert 2 are much better, if you ask me. And it runs like sh*t on my computer, even with the lowest quality (and i have a pretty good computer...)

The guys in RA2 look a lot better, but everything else in Generals looks better. I also have to have the graphics on the loest (with no special effects or anything), but I still like it. :)

It is also not as fun as I thought it would be. It is fun, but it is still basically the same as the rest, which can get pretty boring sometimes. :(

Hey Kieren, do you have C&C Generals? I played someone on the internet yesterday named Kieren85.

No DBZ, I don\'t have Generals. Kieren is an uncommon name...but not unique :P

To be honest, there haven\'t been much in the way of interesting new games (all the ones I had been waiting for turned out to be nowhere near as good as I had hoped)

There are still two I\'m hoping for...Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and of course Homeworld 2. Both due much later this year. Much, MUCH later. If they don\'t slip (again)

Knights of the Old Republic... I refuse to let myself be excited by this.

The last time I allowed George Lucas to get me excited, he sprang Jar Jar on me. Digital revisionism, feh.
